Leveraging 23+ years of experience in risk consulting and banking with a passion for personal development and a deep interest in helping clients gain clarity, build confidence and pursue what’s most important to them.
In my previous life, I was a fraud-buster! Living in Singapore, I have 20+ years of experience working for global organisations such as Arthur Andersen, KPMG, UBS and Standard Chartered Bank in the fields of risk consulting and banking. The desire to have my own business led me to tap into my deep interest in coaching as a second career, and my work is aligned with my core values around freedom, impact and creativity.
I have multiple coaching credentials. I am constantly co-creating unique and enriching coaching experiences together with my clients. I specialise in building confidence, change-management, leadership development and overcoming anxiety.
In my personal life, I enjoy travelling, reading, photography crafting and reading crime fiction.
Maggie Sim, Executive and Life Coach
Outlook: My outlook in life is best described by the word ‘self-leadership’. To me, having self-leadership is about living your life from the core of who you are – your values and purpose. It is about acknowledging that you have the responsibility for creating the life you want. It is about you believing in your own ability to guide yourself to achieving your goals through action that aligns with your values and purpose.
I am your “thinking partner”. I help you sift through your thinking to separate what is important and what is noise. I also help you strategise and create an action plan for your goals. I am your accountability partner. I hold you accountable for actions you have committed to progressing on your goals. I will champion you by holding you bigger than you do yourself, celebrating your successes, and being with you as you navigate through your discomfort zone.
Values: My values as a coach and business owner are Impact, Excellence and Growth. When I honour these values, I get an even more important value to me – Freedom. One of the cornerstones of coaching is to re-connect you with your values and hold them at the core of everything you do. Knowing your values gives you clarity – because you will start to make value-based decisions in every part of your life.
I focus on coaching you as a whole person, who you are right now and who you want to become. Together, we identify where you want to get to and strategies to overcome what stops you from getting there. Remember, you are not broken, and do not need to be fixed.
My coaching style is inspired by my favourite quote from Mohammed Ali, the late boxing champion.
These are my coaching credentials.
